Dr. M. Marquette Peace, Jr. 
   Dr. M. Marquette Peace, Jr. possesses a rich religious and educational background, having graduated from Cheyney University, wth a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education, Masters Degree in Religion from Eastern Baptist Seminary, and Doctor of Divinity from Virginia Seminary of Lynchburg, VA.  Pastor Peace Jr. has been married to his wife, Sis. Marquita Peace for 51 years.  They have 4 children and 2 grandchildren.

   Pastor Peace Jr. was formerly associated with Monumental Baptist Church in Philadelphia, where his father, the late Dr. M.M. Peace Sr. was pastor for over forty years.  He served as Pastor for two years at the Greater White Rock Baptist Church in Philadelphia.  He was God's overseer of Union Baptist Temple of Bridgeton, NJ for eight years.

   Pastor Peace Jr. was the president of Ministerial Relations for Opportunities Industrialization Centers (OIC) of Philadelphia.  Also was president of the Missionary Baptist Pastor's Conference.

   Pastor Peace was called to the pastorate of the Zion Baptist Church of Brooklyn, NY in October of 1986.   Approximately 52 new ministries have been developed.  Under the auspices of the Ministry of Deacons, Pastor implemented a Watchcare program, caring for the entire church family.  Pastor Peace organized and founded the Zion Baptist Church Bible Institute, which trains and issues certificates in fields of Ministry.

   He instituted major refurbishing of the church and the restoration of the educational building, which was completed in 2010.  Zion has purchased additional property which is now mortgage free.  Under the leadership of Pastor Peace Jr. the church has seen a tremendous growth spiritually.  To God be the glory for the things He has done.
